Reprint House on wrong place: Reprint of changed Lighthouse. It is for the first time since 1851 that Canada had to change a postage stamp and reprint it. It was not very much shocking: One out of the five stamps picturing Lighthouses from December 27, 2009 printed in a booklet was showing the house next to the Pachena Point Lighthouse on Vancouver Island on the wrong place. The Lighthouse keeper who was working there before brought this to the attention to the press shortly after the stamps were issued and the Senator insisted that this had to be corrected. The corrected and reprinted stamps were issued on July 2, 2010. The house on the left side is no longer visible and on the right side just a little bid from the house is visible. The local Postal Authority declared that the mistake was made due to the fact that the original was flipped.
