East Nene Lighthouse
The East Nene Lighthouse near Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire. The lighthouse residence was once the home of the naturalist/conservationist Sir Peter Scott. Built in 1826, this (and the twin West Nene Lighthouse just across the river) were never functioning lighthouses but acted as markers to guide ships into the new cut of the River Nene.
